ESTRESSE OXIDATIVO E PARÂMETROS ANALÍTICOS EM AVEIA BRANCA (Avena sativa L.): ESTADO DA ARTE
A cultura da aveia branca é bastante
importante, principalmente no sul do Brasil.
A técnica adequada de manejo previne o
estresse ambiental e evita o desenvolvimento
espécies reativas de oxigênio. Nesse trabalho,
sistematizamos o conhecimento referente às
espécies reativas de oxigênio em plantas, sua
importância na defesa contra injúrias e como
marcador biológico vegetal. O estresse oxidativo
pode se tornar tóxico para as plantas e prejudicar
seu desenvolvimento. Ensaios bioquímicos
demonstraram ser importantes ferramentas
para a quantificação os níveis de atividade
enzimática em folhas de aveia, podendo ser
empregados para o biomonitoramento das
culturas.

Abstract:
The culture of white oats is
quite important, especially in southern
Brazil. The proper management technique
prevents environmental stress and avoids
the development of reactive oxygen species.
In this work, we systematize knowledge
regarding reactive oxygen species in plants,
their importance in defense against injury and
as a biological plant marker. Oxidative stress
can become toxic to plants and hamper their
development. Biochemical tests have proved
to be important tools for the quantification of
enzyme activity levels in oat leaves and can be
used for biomonitoring of crops.
