Abstract: Strengthening university innovation management requires the consolidation of knowledge networks, for which it is essential to implement three key strategies: strengthening capacities in innovation management, forming an Innovation Committee and implementing a platform for its management. This study adopted a qualitative approach based on case analysis, using semi-structured interviews and the Rovere matrix to assess the levels of relationship between research groups and to understand their perceptions of the faculty's contribution to innovation and to explore strategies to improve its impact. It was found that the predominant levels of relationship between the groups are "recognizes" and "knows", indicating an innovation approach focused on obtaining products with unsustainable external links. It is concluded that the FCA must promote deeper interactions to strengthen cooperation and association, favoring a culture of collaborative innovation. In this way, it is expected to enhance the generation of value in agricultural production systems through support mechanisms and integration with other actors in the innovation ecosystem.
