Abstract: Ovarian cancer is a condition frequently associated with a high recurrence rate, especially in high -risk patients. This multimodal analysis aims to evaluate therapeutic strategies to reduce the recurrence of this neoplasm, focusing on the most recent and e ffective approaches. Interventions including maintenance chemotherapy, PARP inhibitors, immunotherapy, targeted therapies and surgical interventions were reviewed. Maintenance chemotherapy has shown significant benefits in extending disease -free survival, although its efficacy is influenced by the initial response and molecular characteristics of the tumor. PARP inhibitors, such as olaparib and niraparib, have shown efficacy especially in patients with BRCA mutations, offering a notable reduction in the rec urrence rate. Immunotherapy and targeted therapies have shown mixed results, with further research needed to determine efficacy in specific subgroups. Surgical interventions, particularly complete debulking, remain fundamental in multimodal treatment, sign ificantly improving outcomes when combined with adjuvant therapies. The integration of these strategies, adjusted to individual patient characteristics, is crucial to optimize treatment and prevent ovarian cancer recurrence. Future research should focus on personalizing treatments and evaluating new therapeutic combinations to improve clinical outcomes.
