ESTRATEGIAS FORMATIVAS PARA UN MANEJO ADECUADO DE LOS DESECHOS SÓLIDOS EN LA ESCUELA DE FORMACIÓN DE PROFESORES DE ENSEÑANZA MEDIA”, GUATEMALA
Tomando como referencia los procesos de concientización ambiental y la necesidad imperativa de educar a los futuros docentes en la temática del adecuado manejo de desechos sólidos en la Escuela de Formación de Profesores de Enseñanza Media, se ejecutó un proyecto de capacitación.
Los Talleres fueron dirigidos a docentes en formación en las área de Matemática, Física, Química, Biología, Educación Bilingüe Intercultural, Informática y Computación apelando el principio de interdisciplinariedad y multidisciplinariedad ambiental, cuyo énfasis fue el manejo adecuado de los desechos sólidos dentro de la citada casa de estudios, teniendo como eje central de participación a los futuros docentes de especialidades diferentes para que también lo puedan ejecutar en los distintos establecimientos donde laboran, y así llevar a cabo los procesos de concientización en sus comunidades.
Es por ello que, en la Escuela de Formación de Profesores de Enseñanza Media, se llevó a cabo una estrategia vinculante y educativa coherente con los principios de la Educación Ambiental que demandan los convenios y tratados internacionales suscritos por el Estado guatemalteco, en las diferentes cumbres medioambientales.

Abstract:
Taking as a reference the processes of environmental awareness and the imperative need to educate future teachers about proper management of solid waste in the School of Training of Teachers of Secondary Education, in Guatemala City, a training project was carried out.
The Workshops were aimed at teachers in the areas of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Intercultural Bilingual Education, Computing and Computer appealing the principle of interdisciplinarity and environmental multidisciplinary, whose emphasis was the proper management of solid waste within the aforementioned house of studies, having as a central axis of participation the future teachers of different specialties so that they can also execute it in the different establishments where they work, and thus carry out the processes of awareness in their communities
That is why, in the Teacher Training School of Secondary Education, a binding and educational strategy was carried out consistent with the principles of Environmental Education demanded by the international agreements and treaties signed by the Guatemalan State, in the different environmental summits.
