Abstract: n recent years, education has undergone significant transformations with the incorporation of active methodologies. These methodologies place the student at the center of the learning process, promoting active participation, collaboration, problem-solving, and critical reflection. The Maguerez Arch Methodology is an active and problematizing approach developed by the Brazilian educator Charles Maguerez. It is widely used in health education, especially in the training of professionals in the field, such as nurses, and is based on the idea that learning is more effective when contextualized and applied to real situations. The aim of this work is to report the experience of adopting active methodologies in teaching and learning during the training of new professionals in the health field.
