Abstract: Introduction: Dermatophytoses (tinea) are superficial fungal infections frequently observed in childhood, affecting the skin, hair, and nails. Nursing plays a fundamental role in the early identification of lesions, therapeutic management, and the implementation of preventive strategies. The aim of this study is to map nursing strategies related to the management and prevention of dermatophytoses in children. Method: This study is a scoping review conducted using the following databases: BDENF, PubMed, Google Scholar, and the CAPES Periodicals Portal, in addition to official documents from the Brazilian Ministry of Health and the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics. Results: The studies analyzed highlighted strategies related to the identification of dermatological lesions, therapeutic management, family guidance, prevention of transmission, promotion of hygiene, and health education. Discussion: Important challenges were identified, including diagnostic difficulties, socio-environmental factors, and structural limitations in health services, which may interfere with the control of these infections. Conclusion: Nursing strategies are essential for early diagnosis, therapeutic follow-up, and the prevention of dermatophytoses in childhood, contributing to the reduction of transmission and the promotion of child health.
