Abstract: Socio-emotional skills are essential competences in the individual's development process at the same time that they are learned in their educational contexts such as family and school, with the family being a determining factor in their development. The aim is to identify and describe different parenting programs aimed at developing socio-emotional skills in children and adolescents. This is an integrative literature review, carried out in May 2021, through the Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde and Scientific Electronic Library Online databases, using the descriptors “Skills”, “Social Skills”, “Educational Activities”, “Programs”, “Parent-Child Relations”, “Socioemotional”. Four articles were selected that presented interventions directly to the parents and consequently to the children for the development of social-emotional skills, working with programs applied in clinical-school contexts, obtaining relevant and comprehensive results. The selected articles describe different programs, three in the behavior analysis approach and one in the cognitive-behavioral theory. Promoting parent training in social skills is relevant to the healthy development of children and the strengthening of family ties.
