ESTIMULAÇÃO CEREBRAL PROFUNDA EM PACIENTES COM PARKINSON: UMA REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA
O presente trabalho analisa, através
de uma revisão sistemática, os benefícios e
indicações da estimulação cerebral profunda
(ECP) em pacientes com Parkinson. Sabese
que esta é uma doença que acomete
grande parcela da população idosa, gerando
limitações de atividades de vida diária, assim
como depressão. Avaliar fatores relacionados
à doença, como idade e comorbidades é de
grande importância quando temos a estimulação
cerebral profunda como opção terapêutica,
pois é necessário preencher alguns critérios
para que este tratamento possa ser adotado.
Por isso, temos aqui a missão de expor quais
são os fatores que mais influenciam na adoção
desse tratamento, a relevância do diagnóstico
precoce da doença, assim como, avaliar sua
eficácia. Os resultados desse trabalho mostram
que os benefícios foram estimados em cerca
de 80% dos casos e que as complicações
pós-operatórias foram prontamente tratadas e
revertidas.

Abstract:
The present work analyze,
through a systematic review, the benefits and
indications of deep brain stimulation (DBE) in
patients with Parkinson´s disease. It is known
that this is a disease that affects a large part of
the elderly population, generating limitations of
activities of daily living, as well as depression. To
evaluate the factors related to the disease, such
as age and comorbidities is of great importance
when we have deep brain stimulation as a
therapeutic option, because it is necessary to
fulfill some criteria so that this treatment can
be adopted. Therefore, we have a mission to
explain wich are the factors that most influence
in the suspension of treatment, the relevance
of the early diagnosis of the disease, as well
as, its success. The results of this study show
that benefits are estimated at about 80% of the
cases and the postoperative complications were
promptly treated and reversed.
