ESTILOS PARENTALES Y EL ROL ASUMIDO EN LA VIOLENCIA EN EL NOVIAZGO EN ESTUDIANTES UNIVERSITARIOS
En el artículo se presentan la relación entre el estilo parental y el rol asumido en la violencia en el noviazgo identificado en una muestra no probabilística de 2,089 estudiantes universitarios de 14 licenciaturas, se aplicó el instrumento de violencia en el noviazgo y el de estilos parentales; en los resultados se empleó la correlación de Pearson, a partir de la cual se aceptó la hipótesis nula referente a los estilos parentales del padre con el rol asumido por ambos géneros; así como la hipótesis nula del estilo de la madre negligente y autoritativa; se aceptó la hipótesis alterna en los estilos parentales de la madre autoritaria e indulgente con el rol de agresor en los hombres y la hipótesis alterna del estilo autoritativo de la madre con el rol de agresora de las mujeres, en conclusión se identificó mayor relación con la práctica de crianza que con el estilo.

Abstract:
The article presents the relationship between parenting style and the role assumed in dating violence identified in a non-probabilistic sample of 2,089 university students from 14 degrees. The instrument of dating violence and parenting styles were applied; In the results, the Pearson correlation was used, from which the null hypothesis regarding the parental styles of the father with the role assumed by both genders was accepted; as well as the null hypothesis of the negligent and authoritative mother style; The alternative hypothesis in the parental styles of the authoritarian and indulgent mother with the role of aggressor in men and the alternative hypothesis of the authoritative style of the mother with the role of aggressor of women was accepted, in conclusion a greater relationship with the parenting practice than with style.
