ESTATUTO DA CIDADE: PRESERVANDO PATRIMÔNIOS
A presente pesquisa tem por finalidade discorrer sobre questões que envolvem o patrimônio histórico, artístico e cultural brasileiro. Para tanto, o estudo utilizou o método de abordagem dialético e, como técnica de pesquisa, empregou a teórico-bibliográfica, com consulta a diversos autores, legislação e artigos técnicos. Objetiva-se com este trabalho, primeiramente, analisar as disposições do Estatuto da Cidade no sentido de minimizar as consequências da desordenada ocupação do espaço principalmente no que diz respeito aos patrimônios materiais e imateriais do país; num segundo momento, cabe a conceituação dos tipos de patrimônios que fazem parte da identidade, história e cultura brasileira e, por fim, o estudo dos instrumentos legais que buscam a proteção efetiva dos bens de grande valor para a identidade do país.

Abstract:
This research aims to discuss issues involving the historical, artistic and cultural patrimonies of Brazil. To this end, the study used the dialectical approach method and, as a research technique, employed the theoretical-bibliographic, with consultation with various authors, legislation and technical articles. The objective of this work is, firstly, to analyze the dispositions of the City Statute in order to minimize the consequences of the disordered occupation of the space, mainly with regard to the material and immaterial patrimonies of the country; secondly, it is necessary to conceptualize the types of patrimonies that are part of Brazilian identity, history and culture and, finally, to study the legal instruments that seek the effective protection of goods of great value for the identity of the country
