Estamos abertos ao setor privado: o aceno do Piauí às Parcerias Público-Privadas

Sou de centro-esquerda e entendo que o Estado e mercado têm que andar juntos”; “Estamos abertos ao setor privado”; “Vamos ser exemplo, isso é só o começo”, são alguns trechos do discurso do governador do Piauí que reforçam que as Parcerias Público-Privadas (PPPs) são a saída para as transformações sociais e quanto mais projetos com a iniciativa privada, maior o desenvolvimento de um lugar. Entre 2015 e 2019, o Piauí foi o segundo do país com mais iniciativas na área de PPPs e concessões e continua em posição de destaque em 2024. Nas demandas específicas, as PPPs privilegiam, não só, a área de infraestrutura, mas contempla outros serviços de relevância para a necessidade do Estado. Nessa perspectiva, o foco deste trabalho é o interesse pelas PPPs como instrumento e componente estratégico de resolutividade, previstas e inseridas no cenário econômico e social do Piauí.

  • Abstract: I'm center-left and I understand that the State and the market have to go together"; "We are open to the private sector"; "Let's be an example, this is just the beginning", are some excerpts from the speech of the governor of Piauí that reinforce that Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) are the way out for social transformations and the more projects with the private sector, the greater the development of a place. Between 2015 and 2019, Piauí was the second in the country with the most initiatives in the area of ​​PPPs and concessions and continues to be in a prominent position in 2024. In terms of specific demands, PPPs not only privilege the area of ​​infrastructure, but also include other services of relevance to the State's needs. From this perspective, the focus of this work is the interest in PPPs as an instrument and strategic component of resolution, foreseen and inserted in the economic and social scenario of Piauí.
