ESTADO PRESENTE: REFLEXÕES ACERCA DA ARTE COMO EXPERIÊNCIA DE JOHN DEWEY
Uma narrativa sobre o início da vida acadêmica de uma professora artista e suas indecisões, sonhos e angústias. A partir da leitura de Dewey é possível notar que em muitas coisas existe um dualismo: na filosofia, na arte, na cultura. Existe uma oposição entre trabalho e lazer, entre intelecto e prática e isso traz a compreensão de que quando se entende uma experiência por completo, o dualismo coexiste, sem que precise abandonar completamente uma coisa em detrimento de outra. Os questionamentos nos colocam no exercício de pensar constantemente quem dentro da pessoa se expressa: a professora ou a artista. Traz a compreensão de que para ensinar arte é preciso vivência, encontro, e saber comunicar. Esse constante exercício traz abertura, curiosidade e coragem para falar de origens, pensamentos, sobre a prática de ensino, aprendizagem e inventividade, lugar de fala. Da incerteza de qual direção seguir surgem caminhos, costuras, pontos e presença.

Abstract:
A narrative about the beginning of the academic life of an artist teacher and her indecisions, dreams and anguish. From the reading of Dewey it is possible to notice that in many things there is a dualism: in philosophy, in art, in culture. There is an opposition between work and leisure, between intellect and practice, and this brings the understanding that when an experience is fully understood, dualism coexists, without having to completely abandon one thing to the detriment of another.The questioning puts us in the exercise of constantly thinking about who is expressing himself within the person: the teacher or the artist. It brings the understanding that to teach art it is necessary to experience, encounter, and know how to communicate. This constant exercise brings openness, curiosity and courage to talk about origins, thoughts, about the practice of teaching, learning and inventiveness, a place of speech. From the uncertainty of which direction to go, paths, seams, points and presence arise.
