ESTADO E SOCIEDADE CIVIL NO BRASIL NA SEGUNDA METADE DO SÉCULO XX
O tema da relação entre estado e sociedade, assim como tantos outros no âmbito da vida social, permite uma abordagem tanto normativa quanto de caráter empírico. Embora a escolha de um ou outro caminho implique diferenças no tratamento que será dado ao tema, o entrelaçamento entre os dois se dá com frequência nas investigações sociais. O objetivo deste trabalho, portanto, é apresentar três momentos da relação entre estado e sociedade no Brasil na segunda metade do século XX, a partir de trabalhos que transitam entre essas modalidades de abordagem, e que cobre, cada um, uma quadra histórica do período indicado.

Abstract:
The theme of the relationship between State and society, as well as many others in the field of social life, allows both normative approach as empirical character. Although the choice of one or other way involve differences in treatment that will be given to the subject, the entanglement between the two occurs frequently in social investigations. The aim of this study, therefore, is to present three moments of the relationship between State and society in Brazil in the second half of the 20th century, from jobs that move between those modes of approach, covering each have a historical Court period indicated.
