Abstract: This work aims to identify academic productions produced on the topic of Ethnomathematics in the State of Mato Grosso, from 2018 to 2022, as well as understanding the main lines of research within this topic. The research was carried out through a survey of works published in the Database of dissertations and theses of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel – CAPES and in the PPGE UFMT Database, seeking to highlight the total number of works defended in the program in relation to the years 2018 to 2022, in the State of Mato Grosso, through the “State of the Art”, which will enable the understanding of the studies carried out regarding Ethnomathematics, in a quantified and ordered way of the work carried out in a temporal space. We will present how we intend to use Discursive Textual Analysis to assist in the interpretation of results from bibliographical research. The objective of the work is to investigate the knowledge produced, the changes and the relevance of the studies carried out regarding the theme pre-established in this work. We sought support in the theoretical reflections of the author Ubiratan D’Ambrósio, who brought main contributions regarding the appreciation of knowledge in different cultural contexts in the Teaching of Mathematics.
