ESQUEMAS OCLUSAIS EM PRÓTESE PARCIAL REMOVÍVEL: UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA.
RESUMO: A importância da harmonia no funcionamento do sistema estomatognático deve ser o grande objetivo do clínico quando frente às reabilitações orais. A reabilitação por próteses parciais removíveis denuncia a necessidade do conhecimento a respeito dos esquemas oclusais a serem restabelecidos de acordo com as necessidades funcionais, estéticas e fonéticas dos pacientes. No presente estudo foi realizada uma revisão de literatura com o objetivo de selecionar as informações mais relevantes frente ao estudo da oclusão e das reabilitações por próteses parciais removíveis a fim de auxiliar o clínico na prática odontológica a escolher um esquema oclusal frente a outro, este pautado na literatura científica. O objetivo do tratamento proposto, independente a qual escola filosófica pertença, o esquema oclusal selecionado deve ser a manutenção/ restabelecimento das funções fisiológicas, estéticas e fonéticas de cada paciente de maneira personalizada.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT: The importance of harmony in the functioning of the stomatognatic system should be the great objective of the clinician when facing oral rehabilitations. Rehabilitation by removable partial dentures denounces the need for knowledge regarding occlusal pattern to be reestablished according to the functional, aesthetic and phonetic needs of patients. In the present study, a literature review was carried out with the purpose of selecting the most relevant information regarding the study of occlusion and rehabilitation by removable partial dentures in order to assist the clinician in the dental practice to choose one occlusal scheme in front of another, supported on scientific literature. The objective of the proposed treatment, independent of which philosophical occlusal scheme was used, must be the maintenance/restoration of physiological, aesthetic, functional and phonetic functions of each patient, in a personalized way.
