ESCOLA: RELATOS DE JOVENS E ADULTOS COM DEFICIÊNCIA INTELECTUAL
este trabalho tem como objetivo
analisar a autopercepção de jovens e adultos
com deficiência intelectual em relação a sua
própria escolaridade. Os estudos atualmente
existentes demonstram que, de forma geral,
esses sujeitos têm sentimentos de menos valia,
refletindo, interiorizada, a imagem que a família e
a escola construíram a seu respeito. A categoria
escola emergiu com bastante frequência no
discurso dos entrevistados. A história de vida
dessas pessoas está intimamente relacionada
com suas vivências na escola. Esse aspecto
instiga a questionar qual é o objetivo real desse
espaço?

Abstract:
this study aims to analyze the
self-perception of young people and adults
with intellectual disabilities in relation to their
own schooling. The current studies show that,
in general, these subjects have feelings of
inferiority, reflecting, internalized, the image
that the family and the school have built about
them. The school category emerged quite
frequently in the interviewees’ speech. The life
history of these people is closely related to their
experiences at school. This aspect instigates to
question what is the real purpose of this space?
