Escola pública em tempos de pandemia: Relato de professoras de um pequeno município da fronteira com o Uruguai
O contexto da pandemia por Coronavirus, que afetou todos os segmentos sociais ao redor do mundo, especialmente a partir do primeiro trimestre de 2020, também trouxe a necessidade de readequar as atividades dos diversos níveis educacionais, por meio do ensino remoto emergencial. A presente pesquisa objetivou verificar, junto às professoras de Língua Portuguesa do município de Aceguá, Rio Grande do Sul, fronteira com o Uruguai, de que forma o ensino remoto desenvolveu-se, sob a ótica dessas profissionais, considerando-se o contexto das três escolas que integram a rede e que atendem alunos de localidades afastadas da sede, muitas vezes com extrema dificuldade de acesso. Investigaram-se fatores como capacitação docente, apoio das instâncias superiores aos docentes e condições de atendimento aos alunos. Para tanto, foi realizada uma entrevista estruturada, por meio de aplicativo de conversas e redes sociais, que contava com nove perguntas, das quais cinco foram pinçadas e compõem o corpus da pesquisa. Segundo as informações prestadas pelas docentes que participaram desse estudo de caso, se constata que, apesar de o Município em questão ser pequeno (ou talvez por isso mesmo), e existirem somente três escolas da rede municipal, a operacionalização não foi tão difícil de ser implementada. Com efeito, se constata que para os alunos cujo acesso aos meios eletrônicos restou inviabilizado, seja pela questão geográfica, seja pela questão material, houve a entrega de material impresso e esses alunos não ficaram sem os conteúdos programáticos e atividades curriculares. Igualmente, se constata que o poder público municipal se ocupou de disponibilizar as ferramentas necessárias aos professores e formandos dos nonos anos, já que forneceu chromebooks, e investiu fortemente na capacitação docente. Assim, constata-se que Aceguá, diferentemente de muitos estados e municípios do país, envidou os maiores esforços para atingir as metas da educação e teve, em certa medida, êxito na superação desse desafio.

Abstract:
The context of the Coronavirus pandemic, which affected all social segments around the world, especially from the first quarter of 2020, also brought the need to realign the activities of the various educational levels through emergency remote education.This research aimed to verify, with the Portuguese language teachers of the municipality of Aceguá, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, bordering Uruguay, how remote education developed, from the perspective of these professionals, considering the context of the three schools that integrate the network and that serve students from locations far from the headquarters, often with extreme difficulty of access. Factors like teacher training, support of higher levels to teachers and conditions of service to students were investigated here. For this, a structured interview was conducted, through app and social networks having nine questions, which five were pinched and compose the corpus of the research. According to the information provided by the teachers who participated in this case study, it is observed that, although the municipality in question is small (or maybe for that very very moment), and there are only three schools in the municipal network, the operationalization was not so difficult to implement. In fact, it is observed that for students whose access to electronic means remained impaired, either by geographical issue or by material issue, there was the delivery of printed material and these students did not be without the programmatic contents and curricular activities. Also, it is found that the municipal government was concerned with making available the necessary tools to teachers and graduates of the ninth grade, since it provided chromebooks, and invested heavily in teacher’s training. Concluding, it can be seen that Aceguá, unlike many states and municipalities in the country, made the greatest efforts to achieve the goals of education and had, to some extent, succeeded in overcoming this challenge.
