ESCOLA DE TEMPO INTEGRAL DESPROVIDA DE EDUCAÇÃO INTEGRAL, É POSSÍVEL?
O estudo aqui apresentado versa sobre a educação integral e a escola de tempo integral. Mais precisamente, busca-se compreender e mostrar a relação entre estes dois importantes temas educacionais, no sentido de responder o seguinte questionamento: Numa escola de tempo integral há, necessariamente, educação integral? Para alcançarmos o objetivo do estudo, respondendo à questão, realizamos pesquisa bibliográfica, dialogando com autores como Antunes (2014), Brandão (2008), Coelho (2009), Guará (2006), Moll (2008; 2011), Cavaliere (2006; 2007), dentre outros. Os resultados da investigação apontaram para uma resposta negativa ao questionamento proposto. De fato, é possível que uma escola de tempo integral não ofereça, necessariamente, uma educação integral. O aumento do tempo de permanência dos educandos na escola pode ser um fator contributivo ao acontecimento da educação integral, mas isso não é regra. Os alunos podem estar com integralidade de tempo na escola sem, com isto, terem suas necessidades atendidas em sua integralidade como pessoa, conforme propõe a educação integral.

Abstract:
This study discusses about integral education and full-time school. More precisely, it seeks to understand and show the relationship between these two important educational themes, in the sense of answering the following question: In a full-time school, is there necessarily integral education? In order to reach the objective of the study and answer the question, we carried out a bibliographical research, dialoguing with important authors of the pedagogical literature, such as Antunes (2014), Brandão (2008), Coelho (2009), Guará (2006), Moll (2008; 2011) Cavaliere (2006, 2007), among others. The results of the investigation pointed to a negative response to the proposed questioning. In fact, the full-time school may not offer integral education. The increase in the length of stay of students in school can be a contributory factor to the event of integral education, but this is not a rule. The students can be full time at school without having their needs met in their entirety as a person, as it is proposed by the integral education.
