ESCLEROSE MÚLTIPLA: DO DIAGNÓSTICO AO TRATAMENTO
INTRODUÇÃO: A Esclerose Múltipla (EM) é uma doença desmielinizante e inflamatória, de provável etiologia autoimune, Trata-se de um um processo inflamatório onde há lesões no Sistema Nervoso Central (SNC) resultando na degradação da bainha de mielina ao redor dos nervos. O presente trabalho deve como objetivo descrever os principais pontos da esclerose múltipla, desde o diagnóstico até o tratamento. METODOLOGIA: A realização das buscas consistiu entre dezembro de 2019 a janeiro de 2020, utilizou-se as bases de dados Scielo, Science Direct e PubMed com o recorte temporal de 2017 a 2019, com os descritores utilizados de modo associado e isolados foram “Esclerose Múltipla”, “Reabilitação”; “Tratamento” e “Diagnóstico”, em inglês e português, indexadas no DECs. RESULTADOS E DISCUSSÃO: Dentro dessas buscas foram encontrados 402 artigos, porém, após a exclusão de achados duplicados e incompletos, restringiram-se a 51 obras, desses, foram lidos individualmente por três pesquisadores, na presença de discordâncias entre estes, um quarto pesquisador era consultado para opinar quanto à inclusão ou não do artigo. Ao final das análises, 6 artigos foram incluídos na revisão, onde possuíam os descritores inclusos no tema e/ou resumo e foram incluídos porque melhor se enquadraram no objetivo proposto. CONCLUSÃO: Portadores de EM apresentam um importante impacto negativo em todas as dimensões da qualidade de vida relacionado a saúde, com maior comprometimento nos domínios de função física.

Abstract:
INTRODUCTION: Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is an inflammatory and demyelinating disease of probable autoimmune etiology, it is a an inflammatory process where there are lesions in the Central Nervous System (CNS) resulting in the degradation of the myelin sheath around the nerves. The present work has as objective to describe the main points of multiple sclerosis from diagnosis to treatment. METHODOLOGY: The realization of the searches consisted from December 2019 to January 2020, we used the databases Scielo, PubMed and Science Direct with the temporal clipping from 2017 to 2019, with the descriptors used so associated and isolates were "Multiple Sclerosis", "rehabilitation"; "treatment" and "diagnosis", in english and portuguese, indexed in DECs. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: Results and Discussion: Within these searches were found 402 articles, however, after the exclusion of duplicate findings and incomplete, restricted to 51 works, these were read individually by three researchers, in the presence of disagreements between them, a researcher was consulted for an opinion regarding the inclusion or not of the article. At the end of the analyzes, 6 articles were included in the review, where they had the descriptors included in the theme and/or summary and were included because they best fit the proposed objective. CONCLUSION: In patients have a significant negative impact on all the dimensions of quality of life related to health, with greater involvement in the areas of physical function.
