ENTRELAÇAR ENTRE EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL E DESENVOLVIMENTO SUSTENTÁVEL.
O presente artigo traz uma discussão teórica acerca da Educação Ambiental (E. A.) como meio de fomentar práticas cidadãs e de cuidado com meio ambiente, com escopo de contribuir para a construção de um desenvolvimento sustentável. Nesse viés, apresenta como objetivo principal trazer a relevância da Educação Ambiental como caminho possível para a materialização do desenvolvimento sustentável, entendido aqui, em uma concepção ampla e que se vincula desta forma, as dimensões políticas, econômicas, culturais e sociais e não exclusivamente a dimensão ambiental. O presente esforço teórico também traz a discussão sobre a relevância da efetivação dos 17 Objetivos do Desenvolvimento Sustentável para a promoção da qualidade de vida e construção cidadã. O caminho metodológico utilizado se constituiu na pesquisa bibliográfica, que foi subsídio para o entendimento, e alcançar o objetivo da pesquisa. Estudos apontam que para melhorias sociais, econômicas, ambientais e políticas torna-se precípuo o incentivo a cidadania, através da Educação Ambiental que deve ser construída e praticada por diferentes agentes sociais.

Abstract:
The present article brings a theoretical discussion on Environmental Education (Environ. Educ.) as a mean of promoting civic activities and environmental care, with the aim of contributing to the construction of sustainable development. In this slant, the article has as main objective brings the relevance of the Environmental Education as a possible way to realize the sustainable development, referred to here, in a broad conception associated with political, economic, cultural and social dimensions and not exclusively with the environmental dimension. The present theoretical effort also brings up a discussion on the relevance of achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Objectives to foster quality of life and citizen construction. The methodology used was bibliographic research, that was a subsidy for the understanding, and achievement of the objective of the work. Some studies point out that to social, economic, environmental and political improvements becomes necessary to encourage citizenship, through the Environmental Education that needs to be built and practiced by different social agents.
