O Brasil é um país rico em sua
cultura e as religiões desempenham um
papel significativo na vida da população. O
místico e o sagrado se misturam em práticas
e rituais, geralmente transmitidos de geração
em geração. Neste contexto as benzedeiras se
destacam por manterem a tradição, unir a fé e o
misticismo com práticas curativas por meio de
suas benzeduras. Assim, neste texto analisamos
mudanças e permanências nas práticas e no
ofício dessas benzedeiras ao longo do tempo.
Buscamos compreender as suas práticas
curativas, investigando a memória dessas
mulheres a partir de depoimentos, relacionando
com a história da religiosidade popular

Abstract:
Brazil is a country rich in its culture
and religions play a significant role in the life
of the population. The mystic and the sacred
mingle in practices and rituals, usually handed
down from generation to generation. In this
context the healers stand out for keeping the
tradition, uniting faith and mysticism with healing
practices through their blessings. Within this
context, this text sought to carry out a study on
the changes and permanences in the practices
and the office of these healers over time. We
seek to understand their healing practices,
investigating the memory of these women from
testimonies, relating to the history of popular
religiosity.
