Entre costumbres y rupturas
Nuestra constante y permanente vinculación con organizaciones feministas y sociales en la zona de Los Altos de Chiapas desde la Universidad Autónoma de Chiapas nos llevo a encontrarnos con Juanita, joven indígena habitante de Santiago El Pinar, municipio que aparece entre la lista de los que presenta menor desarrollo humano entre sus habitantes.
Su historia nos cautivo desde el inicio y no solo por su autodeterminación, carisma humor y su sentido compromiso con las mujeres de su tierra, si no porque su historia nos da la pauta para ir tejiendo elementos cruciales e identificar las acciones que mujeres indígenas realizan para incorporarse a diversos espacios públicos donde reconstruyen saberes, formas de vida, relaciones interpersonales para que a través de su historia se percaten no solo las lideres sino sus compañeras de las rupturas que realizan sin menoscabo de sus usos y costumbres, pero si con la intención de buscar espacios de igualdad al interior de sus comunidades.
Desde la narrativa de Juanita emprendimos un camino con destino a la comprensión de elementos que han distinguido por un lado a su vida familiar y comunitaria, y por el otro a su subjetividad, imprescindibles ahora para su trabajo comprometido en su comunidad a favor de la igualdad de género y los derechos sexuales y reproductivos.
Fue la entrevista a profundidad, la observación participante y la convivencia en diferentes contextos en el que se desenvuelve nuestra sujeta de estudio y el análisis acompañado de teoría y empirismo lo que ha permitido construir una narrativa con saberes de las prácticas positivas a favor de la transformación social, primero de las relaciones interpersonales privadas para posteriormente trastocar diversos espacios sociales, políticos, y económicos incluido usos y costumbres de las comunidades a que pertenecen.

Abstract:
Our constant and permanent relationship with feminist and social organizations in the Los Altos de Chiapas area from the Autonomous University of Chiapas led us to meet Juanita, a young indigenous inhabitant of Santiago El Pinar, a municipality that appears among the list of those with the lowest human development among its inhabitants.
Her story captivated us from the beginning and not only because of her self-determination, charisma, humor and her heartfelt commitment to the women of her land, but also because her story gives us the guidelines to weave crucial elements and identify the actions that indigenous women carry out to join various public spaces where they reconstruct knowledge, ways of life, interpersonal relationships so that throughout their history not only the leaders but their companions realize the ruptures they carry out without prejudice to their uses and customs, but with the intention of seek spaces of equality within their communities.
From Juanita's narrative we embarked on a path towards understanding elements that have distinguished, on the one hand, her family and community life, and on the other, her subjectivity, essential now for her committed work in her community in favor of equality. gender and sexual and reproductive rights.
It was the in-depth interview, participant observation and coexistence in different contexts in which our subject of study develops and the analysis accompanied by theory and empiricism that has allowed us to build a narrative with knowledge of positive practices in favor of transformation social, first of private interpersonal relationships to later disrupt various social, political, and economic spaces including uses and customs of the communities to which they belong.
