A violência contra a mulher constitui uma das mais graves violações dos direitos humanos na sociedade brasileira, tendo no feminicídio sua manifestação mais extrema. Nesse contexto, a presente pesquisa teve como objetivo analisar a atuação da Polícia Militar do Pará no enfrentamento do feminicídio, considerando suas ações de proteção, prevenção e atendimento às mulheres em situação de violência. A pesquisa caracteriza-se como um estudo bibliográfico, de abordagem qualitativa e natureza descritiva, desenvolvido a partir da análise de 11 estudos publicados entre 2020 e 2026, selecionados nas bases SciELO e Google Scholar, além da utilização de dados oficiais da Secretaria de Estado de Segurança Pública e Defesa Social do Pará (SEGUP/PA), referentes ao período de janeiro de 2025 a janeiro de 2026. Os resultados evidenciaram que o feminicídio está fortemente associado à violência doméstica e familiar, sendo frequentemente precedido por agressões físicas, psicológicas, morais, sexuais e patrimoniais. Verificou-se que a Polícia Militar do Pará desempenha papel estratégico na proteção das mulheres por meio do atendimento das ocorrências, fiscalização das medidas protetivas, patrulhamento preventivo e integração com a rede de proteção. Conclui-se que o fortalecimento das ações preventivas, da capacitação profissional e da articulação institucional constitui elemento essencial para ampliar a proteção das mulheres e contribuir para a redução dos casos de feminicídio no estado do Pará.

  • Abstract: Violence against women constitutes one of the most serious human rights violations in Brazilian society, with femicide representing its most extreme manifestation. In this context, this study aimed to analyze the role of the Military Police of Pará in combating femicide, considering its protection, prevention, and assistance actions directed toward women in situations of violence. The research is characterized as a bibliographic study with a qualitative approach and descriptive nature, developed through the analysis of 11 studies published between 2020 and 2026, selected from the SciELO and Google Scholar databases, in addition to official data from the Public Security and Social Defense Department of the State of Pará (SEGUP/PA), covering the period from January 2025 to January 2026. The results showed that femicide is strongly associated with domestic and family violence and is often preceded by physical, psychological, moral, sexual, and economic abuse. The findings also revealed that the Military Police of Pará plays a strategic role in protecting women through incident response, monitoring of protective measures, preventive patrol activities, and integration with the protection network. It is concluded that strengthening preventive actions, professional training, and institutional coordination is essential to enhance the protection of women and contribute to reducing femicide cases in the state of Pará.
