ENTORNOS SOCIODIGITALES EN TINDER Y SUS REPERCUSIONES EN LA SALUD MENTAL
Este proyecto se crea bajo la premisa de que existe una afectación
de la salud mental con el uso de aplicaciones sociodigitales para la
construcción de vínculos afectivos. De esta forma la pregunta de investigación
que guía el trabajo es ¿Cómo se construyen las identidades en los entornos
sociodigitales para la creación de vínculos afectivos que están interfiriendo en
la salud mental de usuarios de Tinder? El objetivo es identificar el tipo de
identidad digital elaborado en los perfiles y los elementos de esta que afectan
la salud mental de los usuarios. Se ha utilizado hasta el momento una
metodología mixta. Específicamente, para el análisis de las identidades
digitales se ha recurrido al análisis de contenido de las fotografías de los
perfiles de usuarios de la aplicación y a una encuesta online de usuarios de
Tinder. Y, para la parte cualitativa se recurrió a la entrevista en profundidad con
usuarios de Tinder que han creado vínculos afectivos a partir de la misma. Los
resultados permiten señalar que la comunicación ha rebasado los límites de la
visualización y contacto físico del encuentro cara a cara e implementado un
nuevo escenario para los vínculos afectivos y para la creación de un proceso
emergente que define y transforma las formas de la interacción social, con
afectaciones a la salud mental. En este trabajo se presentan específicamente
los resultados de la construcción de las identidades digitales en la red social en
periodo de postpandemia.

Abstract:
This project is created under the premise that there is an
affectation of mental health with the use of socio-digital applications for the
construction of affective bonds. In this way, the research question that guides
the work is How are identities constructed in socio-digital environments for the
creation of affective bonds that are interfering in the mental health of Tinder
users? The objective is to identify the type of digital identity developed in the
profiles and the elements of it that affect the mental health of users. A mixed
methodology has been used so far. Specifically, for the analysis of digital
identities, the content analysis of the photographs of the profiles of users of the
application and an online survey of Tinder users have been used. And, for the
qualitative part, the in-depth interview with Tinder users who have created
affective bonds from it was used. The results allow us to point out that
communication has exceeded the limits of visualization and physical contact of
face-to-face encounter and implemented a new scenario for affective bonds and
for the creation of an emerging process that defines and transforms the forms of
social interaction, with effects on mental health. This paper specifically presents
the results of the construction of digital identities in the social network in the
post-pandemic period.
