ENTENDENDO A FILA COMO UMA ATIVIDADE QUE NÃO AGREGA VALOR: APLICAÇÃO DA SIMULAÇÃO DE EVENTOS DISCRETOS NA REDUÇÃO DO TEMPO DE ATENDIMENTO
A formação de filas é uma atividade que não agrega valor e, portanto, deve ser evitada. Além disso, traz inúmeros custos tangíveis e intangíveis que afetam diretamente a sobrevivência de um negócio. Neste trabalho será feita a análise do trade off econômico entre o custo da espera e a capacidade de atendimento de um estabelecimento comercial da cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Metodologicamente, utilizouse a Simulação de Eventos Discretos por meio do software ARENA. Assim, pode-se analisar o tamanho médio da fila, o tempo médio de atendimento e a quantidade total de atendimento. A partir desses indicadores estatísticos, pode-se sugerir ações capazes de melhorar a performance do sistema, e, consequentemente, atuar positivamente na percepção dos clientes com relação ao serviço prestado.

This work will be made a trade analysis off between economic cost of waiting and service capability of a commercial establishment of Rio de Janeiro city. The method employed to discrete events simulation software through the arena. So, you can analyze the average size of fila, call average time and quantity service total. The from such statistical indicators, can be prompt action to improve the system capable of performance, and therefore perform positively in perception of clients with respect to the service provided.
