ENSINO PÚBLICO E PRIVADO: AVANÇOS E CONTRADIÇÕES
Este trabalho tem por objetivo
realizar um estudo comparativo, analisando
os avanços e as contradições nas instituições
educacionais, na modalidade ensino médio,
ofertado na Escola Estadual Nascimento
de Morais e a escola privada de Ensino
médio Colégio Metropolitano Aliança, ambas
localizadas no município de Imperatriz – MA,
compreendendo que são duas concepções
distintas de educação, que possibilita acesso
a um grupo social definido de poder aquisitivo
direcionado para esses estabelecimentos
educacionais. Para compreender estas
questões, buscamos dialogar com os autores
da Educação, Demerval Saviani, refletindo
sobre a escola e a democracia (1995), Moacir
Gadotti as idéias educacionais (1999), Paulo
freire, em pedagogia da autonomia (2001),
Gaudêncio Frigotto, para compreender os
circuitos da história na trajetória educacional
brasileira (2010), dentre outros intelectuais da
educação. A educação no Brasil tem como um
dos seus pilares na sua matriz educacional
preparar o aluno para competir no mercado
de trabalho, buscando na concorrência um
lugar na sociedade para ofertar sua mão de
obra “qualificada” pelas instituições de ensino,
seja escola publica ou privada. A realidade do
ensino médio é bem complexa, no município de
Imperatriz, bem como na maioria dos municípios
maranhenses, as escolas da rede pública tem
sua infraestrutura precária, no Maranhão, o
ensino médio tem obtido alguns avanços com o
projeto “escola digna” nos diversos municípios
do estado, que se tome referência para saber
onde buscar ainda mais soluções para a
problemática educacional, rompendo com os
limites ainda existentes aos alunos do ensino
médio da rede pública de forma o mais ampla
possível.

Abstract:
The objective of this work is to
carry out a comparative study, analyzing the
advances and contradictions in the educational
institutions, in the modality secondary education, offered in the State School Nascimento
de Morais and the private high school Colégio Metropolitano Aliança, both located in
the municipality of Imperatriz - MA, understanding that they are two distinct conceptions
of education, that allows access to a defined social group of purchasing power directed
to these educational establishments. In order to understand these issues, we sought
to dialogue with the authors of Education, Demerval Saviani, reflecting on school
and democracy (1995), Moacir Gadotti educational ideas (1999), Paulo Freire, in
pedagogy of autonomy (2001), Gaudêncio Frigotto, to understand the circuits of history
in the Brazilian educational trajectory (2010), among other intellectuals of education.
Education in Brazil has as one of its pillars in its educational matrix to prepare the
student to compete in the labor market, seeking in the competition a place in society
to offer their workforce “qualified” by educational institutions, whether public or private
school . The reality of high school is very complex, in the municipality of Imperatriz,
as well as in most municipalities in Maranhão, public schools have their precarious
infrastructure, in Maranhão, high school has made some progress with the project
“dignified school” in several municipalities in the state, that is taken to know where to
look for even more solutions to the educational problem, breaking with the limits still
existing to the high school students of the public network in the widest possible way.
