ENSINO DE QUÍMICA NAS ESCOLAS PÚBLICAS DE MANAUS/AM: ALGUMAS CONSIDERAÇÕES
Este trabalho traz um levantamento
sobre o cotidiano escolar de professores de
Química que atuam em escolas públicas da
cidade de Manaus-AM. O objetivo da pesquisa
foi investigar os fatores que interferem no
ensino-aprendizagem desta área científica,
propondo desenvolver um ensino que
especifique a relevância desta para o contexto
social. Para isto, utilizou-se uma metodologia
quantitativa com o uso de um questionário com
questões fechadas. A amostra foi composta de
vinte professores que dão aula em escolas da
rede pública, os quais responderam questões
determinantes nesta investigação. Constatouse
que fatores diferenciados existem no contexto
escolar, que de certa forma interferem na
qualidade do processo educativo em Química
e prejudicam o entendimento do aluno sobre
determinados assuntos e a importância de
estudá-los, levando assim o professor a busca
de recursos que gerem sua própria autonomia
profissional, independente do sistema educativo
do Amazonas.

Abstract:
This work brings a survey on the
school Chemistry teacher’s every day to work
in public schools in the city of Manaus-AM. The
objective of this research was to investigate
the factors that interfere in the teaching and
learning of this scientific field, proposing to
develop a teaching, which specify the relevance
of this to the social context. For this, we used
a quantitative e methodology with the use of a
questionnaire with closed questions. The sample
was composed of twenty teachers that give class
in public schools, which answered questions
determinants in this investigation. It was found
that different factors exist in the school context,
that somehow interfere with the quality of the
educational process in chemistry and hinder the
student’s understanding on certain issues and
the importance of studying them, taking so the
teacher seeking resources that manage their
own professional autonomy, independent of the
education system of the Amazon.
