ENSINO DE NOÇÕES BÁSICAS DE DIREITO NA ESCOLA
Este artigo defende a ideia de que noções básicas de Direito sejam ensinadas nas escolas, pois tal aprendizagem auxiliaria no acesso aos direitos das crianças e adolescentes e possibilitaria que elas tivessem melhor dimensão sobre o cumprimento de seus deveres. O fato de não haver disciplinas específicas e regulares que abordem noções básicas de Direito na escola dificulta às crianças e aos adolescentes o acesso, desde cedo, a informações sobre seus direitos e dificulta a compreensão dos seus deveres perante a sociedade. Neste sentido, o conhecimento de noções basilares de Direito poderia ser utilizado como elemento transformador da vida pessoal e familiar dos alunos. Este estudo apresenta a possibilidade de que os adolescentes obtenham conhecimentos (através de seminários, palestras e da inserção de disciplina específica, no Ensino Médio) que lhes permitam aprender, dialogar e refletir sobre temas contemporâneos afetos ao Direito e de que as crianças (por meio de atividades educacionais e da inserção de disciplina específica na Educação Infantil) já tenham contatos iniciais com o Direito. Na elaboração do artigo foram utilizadas fontes de pesquisa primárias e secundárias. Realizou-se uma detalhada revisão em preceitos constitucionais, em artigos científicos e projetos de lei que tratam do tema. E, com base nas fontes consultadas e na construção de argumentos, este artigo propõe uma reflexão, no âmbito acadêmico, sobre a possibilidade de que se torne obrigatório o ensino de noções básicas de Direito nas escolas públicas e privadas brasileiras. E, como resultado desta proposta de reflexão, aventa-se a possibilitar de que as crianças e adolescentes tenham melhores condições de compreender seus direitos e deveres próprios e da sociedade.

Abstract:
This article defends the idea that basic notions of Law are taught in schools, as such learning would help children and adolescents to access their rights and enable them to have a better understanding of the fulfillment of their duties. The fact that there are no specific and regular subjects that address basic notions of Law at school makes it difficult for children and adolescents to access, from an early age, information about their rights and makes it difficult to understand their duties to society. In this sense, knowledge of basic notions of Law could be used as a transforming element in students' personal and family life. This study presents the possibility for teenagers to obtain knowledge (through seminars, lectures and the inclusion of a specific discipline in High School) that allow them to learn, dialogue and reflect on contemporary issues related to Law and that children (through educational activities and the insertion of a specific discipline in Early Childhood Education) already have initial contacts with the Law. In the elaboration of the article, primary and secondary research sources were used. A detailed review of constitutional provisions, scientific articles and bills dealing with the subject was carried out. And, based on the consulted sources and the construction of arguments, this article proposes a reflection, in the academic sphere, on the possibility that the teaching of basic notions of Law in Brazilian public and private schools becomes mandatory. And, as a result of this proposal for reflection, the idea is to make it possible for children and adolescents to have better conditions to understand their own rights and duties and those of society.
