ENSINO DE ÁLGEBRA E A LINGUAGEM MATEMÁTICA: E AGORA, TEM LETRAS NA MATEMÁTICA?
A linguagem matemática estabelece combinações e relações com o formalismo do algoritmo e, relacionando-o com a língua materna, contextualiza a matemática, dando sentido. Atualmente a Álgebra é um conteúdo matemático com vasta simbologia, utilizada na resolução de diversos problemas. Desta forma, o presente trabalho trata de um relato de experiência aplicado em sala de aula no ensino fundamental sobre o conteúdo de produtos notáveis, por meio da utilização do material de ouro planejado, bem como sua contribuição para o aprendizado dos alunos. Os objetivos para a realização deste experimento foram construir conceitos sobre produtos notáveis, utilizando o material dourado planejado; trabalhar a noção de área e perímetro de figuras geométricas e desenvolver a comunicação oral e escrita. Verificou-se que a atividade despertou o interesse dos alunos, que, apesar de algumas dificuldades quanto às operações com as medidas, trouxeram aprendizado pela forma palpável e visual dos produtos marcantes, trazendo significado à atividade.

Abstract:
The mathematical language establishes combinations and relationships with the formalism of the algorithm and, relating it to the mother language, provides a context to mathematics, giving meaning. Currently Algebra is a mathematical content with vast symbology, used in solving various problems. In this way, the present work deals with an experience report applied in the classroom in elementary school on the content of notable products, through the use of the planned golden material, as well as its contribution to the students' learning. The objectives for carrying out this experiment were to build concepts about notable products, using the planned golden material; working with the notion of area and perimeter of geometric figures and developing oral and written communication. It was verified that the activity aroused the interest of the students, who, despite some difficulties regarding the operations with the measures, brought learning due to the palpable and visual form of the remarkable products, bringing meaning to the activity.
