ENSINANDO MATEMÁTICA POR MEIO DA RESOLUÇÃO DE EQUAÇÕES COM MATERIAL CONCRETO
Os desafios no ensino da Matemática são grandes e o número de dificuldades apresentadas pelos alunos colabora para sua rejeição. Um dos temas de grande preocupação dos estudantes envolve a álgebra com suas equações, expressões e operações sempre providas de letras representando valores desconhecidos e envolvidas em passos mecânicos de solução que muitos alunos não compreendem e por isso apresentam grande desinteresse. Tornar esta parte da Matemática visualmente atrativa e com soluções que podem ser construídas pelos alunos, foi uma das propostas das aulas e atividades direcionadas a nonos anos do ensino fundamental no ano de 2018 em um colégio estadual de Foz do Iguaçu no Paraná e que farão parte deste relato descrevendo o processo de planejamento, preparação e aplicação das atividades além dos resultados obtidos com relação a aprendizagem dos alunos envolvidos nestas aulas, podendo ser destacados a cooperação no trabalho em grupo, a contextualização entre áreas de objetos e equações além da motivação na busca por resposta em comparação ao método tradicional sobre o mesmo tema em sala de aula regular.

Abstract:
The challenges in teaching Mathematics are great and the number of difficulties presented by the students contributes to their rejection. One of the topics of great concern to students involves algebra, with its equations, expressions and operations always provided with letters representing unknown values and involved in mechanical steps of solution that many students do not understand and therefore show great disinterest. Making this part of Mathematics visually attractive and with solutions that can be built by students was one of the proposals for classes and activities aimed at the ninth grades of elementary school in 2018 at a state school in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, which will be part of of this report describing the process of planning, preparation and application of activities, in addition to the results obtained in relation to the learning of students involved in these classes, which can be highlighted the cooperation in group work, the contextualization between areas of objects and equations, in addition to motivation in the search per answer compared to the traditional method on the same topic in the regular classroom.
