Abstract: Beekeeping activity and its diversity of products generate income on rural properties, but appropriate management and technologies are needed to develop bee pollen production in the northern region of the country, which is still little explored in the region, which can increase beekeepers' income, combined with honey production. The objective of this work was to determine the effect of the environmental conditions of the Cerrado Amazonia ecotone on the collection and storage of food by bees and the possibility of commercial production during the period of greatest food supply. The experiment was conducted at the Agricultural Sciences Center of the Federal University of Northern Tocantins. Twelve honey bee colonies previously homogenized and in production were drawn from among those available in the apiary and divided into two groups: Commercial production of honey and pollen and Commercial production of honey (control). Collectors were installed and collected daily, from Tuesday to Friday, always at the same time. The average daily productivity of the colonies varied between 22 and 50 grams, with the second week of May having a productivity of 368.20 and 799.62g/colony/week. These productivity variations may be related to several reasons such as pollen foraging ability, climatic variations, floral diversity and hive management. As for honey production, the colonies with pollen collection presented an average production in the 1st harvest, at the end of this experiment, of 13.22kg per colony, while the controls produced an average of 15.06kg per colony. The commercial production of bee pollen in the region is viable and honey can add greater potential for generating income for the beekeeper than just honey production.
