ENRIQUE BUENAVENTURA E O “TOMAR POSIÇÃO” NA PEÇA HISTORIA DE UNA BALA DE PLATA: UMA NARRATIVA DA AMÉRICA LATINA E DO CARIBE
Leitura da peça de teatro Historia de una bala de plata (1979), de Enrique Buenaventura, do Teatro Experimental de Cáli, com base nos conceitos de história de Walter Benjamin, assim como de teatro dialético de Bertold Brecht e, principalmente, no “tomar posição” de Didi-Huberman. A peça é comparada a outra do mesmo autor, intitulada A tragédia do rei Cristophe (1961). As obras dramatúrgicas abordam o processo de independência do Haiti. O trabalho do autor se insere no movimento Novo Teatro Colombiano. Observa-se o desenvolvimento de temas relativos ao colonialismo e ao decolonialismo ainda atuais.

Abstract:
This is a reading of the play Historia de una bala de plata (Story of a silver bullet, 1979), by Enrique Buenaventura, from Teatro Experimental de Cali, based on the concepts of history by Walter Benjamin; on the dialectical theater by Bertold Brecht and, mainly, on “take position” by Didi-Huberman. The play is compared to another one written by the same author, entitled La tragedia del Rey Cristophe (The tragedy of King Cristophe, 1961). The dramaturgical works address the process of independence in Haiti. The author's work is part of the New Colombian Theater movement. It is possible to observe the development of themes related to colonialism and decolonialism that are still current nowadays.
