ENCEFALOPATIA BILIRRUBÍNICA POR INCOMPATIBILIDADE SANGUÍNEA ABO: RELATO DE CASO
Kernicterus é a presença de bilirrubina em grandes quantidades que resultam em lesões, atingindo os núcleos cerebrais de bebês com icterícia fisiológica. A etiologia dessa doença é multifatorial, podendo ser por incompatibilidade ABO e por causas diversas como deficiência de Glicose-6-fosfato desidrogenase. A paciente G.M.C.S.N. do sexo feminino, a partir do 7° dia de vida, começou a apresentar hipoatividade e icterícia. No 8° dia de vida foi levada rapidamente para o hospital onde foi internada e em seguida, foi diagnosticada com Kernicterus tardio raro por incompatibilidade ABO. A partir do presente estudo podemos concluir que a encefalopatia bilirrubínica pode ocorrer de forma tardia e está principalmente associada a incompatibilidade sanguínea.

Abstract:
Kernicterus is caractherized by the presence of large amounts of bilirubin, that results in lesions, reaching the brain nuclei of babies with physiological jaundice. The etiology of this disease is multifactorial, and may be due to ABO incompatibility and other causes, such as glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency. The patient G.M.C.S.N. female, from the 7th day of life, started to present hypoactivity and jaundice. On the 8th day of life, she was quickly taken to the hospital where she was admitted and then diagnosed with rare late Kernicterus due to ABO incompatibility. From the present study we can conclude that bilirubin encephalopathy can occur late and is mainly associated with blood incompatibility.
