EN BÚSQUEDA DE UNA ORGANIZACIÓN PRODUCTIVA PARA LOS ARTESANOS DEL BUTIÁ DE SANTA VITÓRIA DO PALMAR (RS), BRASIL.
El presente trabajo surgió de un estudio académico en la Universidade de Rio Grande do Sul (FURG) de Santa Vitória do Palmar (SVP), realizado en el segundo semestre del año 2017. Se investigó la posibilidad de una organización productiva en forma de cooperativa para los artesanos que trabajan con los derivados de la palmera del butiá. La probable comercialización de sus artesanías a través del turismo, sin perder la perspectiva del cuidado del patrimonio natural, reflejado en las palmeras que están en peligro de extinción. La investigación fue de tipo descriptiva y exploratoria, documental y de campo.El método aplicado fue de revisión bibliográfica, física y online. Se observó interés de los artesanos del butiá en la organización productiva de tipo cooperativa y al turismo como canal de distribución del trabajo de los artesanos. Se concluye que es necesaria la continuación de estudios que favorezcan a los artesanos en la producción sustentable con apoyo de diferentes actores sociales.

Abstract:
The following text emerged from an academic investigation for the University of Rio Grande do Sul (FURG) of Santa Vitória do Palmar (SVP), held in the second semester of 2017. The main focus was to address the possibility of a cooperative organization for artisans who manufacture products from the butiá palm tree and its derivatives. We noticed a possible commercialization of their handcrafts through tourism, always preserving their natural heritage, also reflected in the palm trees that are endangered. We consider maintaining the natural cultural heritage and the care and valorization of the environment, this alongside the economic perspective of the community. This is a descriptive text and an exploratory research, made with documental information and field trips. The applied methods were bibliographic research, physical and online reviews. We have concluded that artisans of the butiá are interested in a productive cooperative organization and accept tourism as a channel of distribution of their work. In conclusion, we address the need to continue studies that aids artisans for a sustainable production with support from different social actors.
