EMPRESA DO POLO PETROQUÍMICO DE TRIUNFO: PERFIL DOS TRABALHADORES HIPERTENSOS
Este estudo objetivou traçar o perfil dos trabalhadores hipertensos de uma empresa do Polo Petroquímico de Triunfo, identificando os fatores de risco associados à hipertensão arterial. Estudo transversal com abordagem retrospectiva quantitativa, realizado nos prontuários de 82 trabalhadores portadores de Hipertensão Arterial Sistêmica. Para a verificação de associação significativa entre as variáveis, utilizou-se o teste de associação de Fisher, e o software utilizado para a análise estatística foi o SPSS versão 13.0. Evidenciou-se trabalhadores hipertensos, sendo 93,90% do sexo masculino; 51,21% na faixa etária entre 41 e 50 anos; a ocupação com mais registros de hipertensos foi de Operadores Petroquímicos, com 28,04%; 51,21% apresenta histórico familiar de doenças cardiovasculares de hipertensão; 48,78% são obesos; e 100% estressados. Tais resultados reafirmam a importância do enfermeiro do trabalho como profissional habilitado para desenvolver e executar programas de avaliação da saúde do trabalhador, atuando de maneira a prevenir, proteger e controlar doenças de maior incidência, resultando em melhor aproveitamento do funcionário dentro da instituição e diminuindo o absenteísmo relacionado aos agravos da hipertensão.

Abstract:
The objective of this research was to trace the profile of the employees with the hypertension disease of a company from Triunfo’s Petrochemical Facility, identifying the risk factors related to arterial hypertension. A cross-sectional research through approach of a quantitative retrospective, based on 82 medical records of the employees with the Hypertension Arterial Systemic disease. To verify the relevant association between the variables, was utilized the Fisher’s test of association, the software used to find statistics analysis was the SPSS version 13.0. The result found that hypertensions employees were 93,90% male gender, 51,21% with age group between 41 and 50 years old, 28,04% of the petrochemical workers have the occupation that had the biggest number of hypertension registries, 51,21% shows a historic familiar of hypertension, 48,78% are obese and 100% are stressed. These results confirm the significance of the workplace nurse qualified to develop and execute evaluation programs of the employees’ health, acting in a preventively way, protecting and controlling the diseases with more records, resulting in a better using of the employees inside the institution and lowering the absenteeism according to Hypertension grievance.
