EM DEFESA DA EDUCAÇÃO SEXUAL NAS ESCOLAS: UM EXERCÍCIO DEMOCRÁTICO
Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar textos no campo da educação vinculados à temática Gênero e Sexualidade, como leitura obrigatória da disciplina “Adolescência, Sexualidade, Gênero e Educação”, componente eletivo ofertado para alunos regulares do Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação Escolar, Mestrado e Doutorado Profissional da Universidade Federal de Rondônia (PPGEEProf/UNIR), ofertada no período de 07 de março a 11 de março de 2022. Fundamentamos na discussão dos textos apresentados pela disciplina a partir da revisão de literatura, considerando os diferentes autores que compõem as bases conceituais relacionadas à Gênero e Sexualidade. Este artigo propõe analisar as bases e parâmetros que estabelecem o papel da Educação Sexual na escola e sua relação com a construção de um projeto pedagógico democrático. Partindo da conceituação da adolescência enquanto construção social, esta ideia parece repelir, discursivamente, a sexualidade, apesar da realidade mostrar uma questão diferente. Portanto, este artigo aborda as dificuldades de se estabelecer, efetivamente, um projeto voltado a educação sexual nas escolas, tendo em vista os discursos veiculados pela adolescência. Apesar das turbulências, o campo de estudos voltados a Educação Sexual continua em expansão, demonstrando seu potencial para um projeto emancipatório de educação em vista dos retrocessos e adversidades. A disciplina ofertada contribuiu para que se abrisse uma nova gama de possibilidade ao pensar a práxis pedagógica e as potencialidades oferecidas pela Educação sexual, pensando a possibilidade de construir, em conjunto, uma educação emancipatória e democrática.

Abstract:
This article aims to analyze texts in the field of education linked to the theme Gender and Sexuality, as mandatory reading of the Subject Adolescence, Sexuality, Gender and Education, an elective component offered to regular students of the Graduate Program in School Education, Masters and Doctorate Professional from the Federal University of Rondônia (PPGEEProf/UNIR), offered from March 7 to March 11, 2022. We are based on the discussion of the texts presented by the discipline from the literature review, considering the different authors that make up the conceptual bases related to Gender and Sexuality. This article proposes to analyze the bases and parameters that establish the role of Sex Education at school and its relationship with the construction of a democratic pedagogical project. Starting from the conceptualization of adolescence as a social construction, this idea seems to discursively repel sexuality, despite the reality showing a different issue. Therefore, this article addresses the difficulties of effectively establishing a project aimed at sex education in schools, in view of the discourses conveyed by adolescence. Despite the turmoil, the field of studies focused on Sex Education continues to expand, demonstrating its potential for an emancipatory education project in view of setbacks and adversities. The discipline offered contributed to opening up a new range of possibilities when thinking about pedagogical praxis and the potential offered by Sex Education, thinking about the possibility of building, together, an emancipatory and democratic education.
