ELASTOMETRIA POR ULTRASSONOGRAFIA NA ERA DO DIAGNÓSTICO NÃO INVASIVO: UMA ATUALIZAÇÃO DE SEU PAPEL EM LESÕES HEPÁTICAS FOCAIS
A elastometria por ultrassonografia,
que permite observar as características das
deformações dos tecidos em resposta a
uma força aplicada de forma não invasiva,
vem destacando-se na era do diagnóstico
não invasivo. Em hepatologia a performace
da elastometria no estadiamento de fibrose
hepática tem sido de forma crescente bem
demonstrada com importantes repercussões
no estadiamento, avaliação terapêutica e
prognóstica destes pacientes. Na avaliação
de lesões hepáticas focais, embora com
tendência ascendente, tem-se menor número
de publicações. Objetivamos assim neste
estudo revisar a literatura acerca dos trabalhos
utilizando a elastometria Shear Wave- como
contribuição na avaliação e diferenciação de
lesões hepáticas focais.

Abstract:
Ultrasound elastometry, which
allows to observe the characteristics of tissue
deformations in response to a noninvasively
applied force, is highlighted in the era of
noninvasive diagnosis. In hepatology, the
performance of elastometry in hepatic fibrosis
staging has been well demonstrated, with
important repercussions on the staging,
therapeutic and prognostic evaluation of these
patients. In the evaluation of liver lesions, although with an upward trend, there are
fewer publications. In this study, we aimed to review the literature on studies using
Shear Wave- elastometry as a contribution to the assessment and differentiation of
focal liver lesions.
