Abstract: The growing out of marine shrimp Litopenaeus was performed at Virrilá-Piura-Perú, during summer time (November-June) into Fondo de Desarrollo Pesquero (FONDEPES) installations. Shrimp postlarvae were seeded and splited in two opportunities: 50 thousand pLs collected from nature in November and 80 thousand from lab artificial spawning in February. PLs measured in average, 9 mm length and 0,0017 g weight. These were stabulated into a 10 m2 net pen inside the earthen pond. Periodically, size enclosure was enlarged monthly. Up to reach total size pond (7500 m2). This strategy of growth was named as UNISPATIAL MULTIPHASE GROWING OUT. Culturing period was 220 days. Physical-chemical parameters were: Temperature, 18-32°C; salinity, 38 – 55 ppt; dissolved oxygen, 1,9 – 12,5 mg/L and pH, 8,52 – 9,77. Organic fertilization was done with 2000kg/ha/month of marine bird manure. Fresh feeding was supplied with Artemia fresh biomass, 841 kg, produced in the same installation (evaporator ponds) and artificial feeding prepared with ingredients as giant squid by-products (40%), rice bran (40%) and Artemia fresh biomass (8%). Total of 1123 kg of this food was supplied in two daily frequencies: 10 and 18 hours. 842 kg whole shrimps were produced (1123 kg/ha). Final survival was 36,32%. Feeding conversion factor was 1,7:1. As a consequence of the two seedings done, was obtained the following codes of tail sizes: 21-30 (30%) and 46 -55 (40%).
