EFICIÊNCIA DE SUBSTÂNCIAS PRODUZIDAS POR FUNGOS DO SOLO AMAZÔNICO CONTRA LARVAS DE Aedes aegypti (LINNAEUS, 1762)
O Aedes aegypti é o principal vetor
da dengue, febre amarela, chikungunya e do
Zica vírus. Os fungos do solo apresentam-se
como uma potencial alternativa para o controle
biológico do A. aegypti. O presente trabalho
verificou a eficiência de caldos metabólicos
produzidos a partir de fungos isolados do solo
contra larvas de A. aegypti. As amostras de solo
foram coletadas no Bosque da Ciência/INPA, e
os fungos foram isolados utilizando como isca
a quitina de camarão. Os caldos metabólicos
foram produzidos em meio líquido e testados
contra as larvas. Nos bioensaios realizados
todas as 33 amostras testadas apresentaram
atividade no período de três dias, no entanto,
19 amostras foram eficientes contra as larvas
nas primeiras 24 horas.

Abstract:
Aedes aegypti is the main vector
of dengue fever, yellow fever, chikungunya
and Zica virus. Soil fungi present as a potential
alternative for the biological control of A. aegypti.
The present work verified the efficiency of
metabolic broths produced from fungi isolated
from the soil against A. aegypti larvae. The soil
samples were collected in the Forest of Science
/ INPA, and the fungi were isolated using
shrimp chitin as bait. The metabolic broths were
produced in liquid medium and tested against
the larvae. In the bioassays performed all 33
samples tested showed activity in the three
day period, however, 19 samples were efficient
against the larvae in the first 24 hours.
