Abstract: Introduction. Low back pain is a high-frequency symptom, with a high potential for chronicity, considered a public health problem. With a multifactorial etiology, it can progress progressively in the absence of an early diagnosis. Endoscopy discectomy is a low-invasive surgical approach, allowing a lower rate of complications and functional restoration, with a lower rate of recurrence, when associated with therapeutic resources, such as physiotherapy. Objective. To analyze, through scientific evidence, the effectiveness of physiotherapeutic resources on pain and functionality outcomes after endoscopic lumbar discectomy. Method. A systematic review of the literature was carried out, searching for articles indexed in the electronic databases CINAHL via EBSCO, SciELO, Science Direct, SCOPUS, LILACS via BIREME, PEDro MEDLINE via PubMed, SPORTDiscus via EBSCO and Web of Science, in the period of December from 2024 to January 2025, through the descriptors in Health Sciences – DeCS: Physiotherapy modalities, microdiscectomy and spine surgery, with their counterparts in the English language, and the terms pain and hernia, without temporal and linguistic restrictions, using the Boolean operator AND, through The Prisma Statement strategy. The eligibility criteria, articles of the type randomized clinical trials and/or intervention studies were included, review articles, editorials, letters to the editor and experimental studies with animals were excluded. Results. 194 articles were selected, 8 of which were included in the final synthesis. Among the resources used, kinesiotherapy, electrotherapy and aquatic physiotherapy, acting mainly on pain and functionality outcomes. Final considerations. Lumbar disc herniation is a highly prevalent condition in developed and developing countries, such as Brazil. Among surgical approaches, endoscopic discectomy is a low-invasive intervention, allowing early return to activities and a lower rate of complications. Physiotherapy, as part of the multidisciplinary team, works on pain and functionality outcomes through kinesiotherapy, electrotherapy and aquatic physiotherapy, allowing functional recovery in the variables mobility, strength and resistance and sensorimotor re-education.
