Abstract: Robotic surgery has emerged as an advanced alternative for the treatment of colorectal carcinoma, offering potential benefits compared to traditional laparoscopic and open surgery techniques. This integrative review aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of r obotic surgery in patients with colorectal carcinoma, through a comparative analysis of postoperative outcomes, including complications, recovery time, tumor resection margin, and quality of life. 28 studies published between 2010 and 2024 were i ncluded, including randomized clinical trials, cohort studies, and systematic reviews. The results demonstrated that robotic surgery is associated with a lower rate of postoperative complications and faster recovery, in addition to providing adequate tumor resection margins and a better postoperative quality of life. However, no significant differences were observed in tumor recurrence rates or overall survival when compared to conventional techniques. These findings suggest that robotic surgery is an effec tive option for the treatment of colorectal carcinoma, with substantial benefits in immediate outcomes, although its long -term impact and economic viability still need to be further investigated
