EFEITO DO USO DA BANDAGEM ELÁSTICA FUNCIONAL ASSOCIADA A CINESIOTERAPIA NO PADRÃO DE MARCHA EM HEMIPARÉTICOS VÍTIMAS DE ACIDENTE VASCULAR ENCEFÁLICO NAS FASES AGUDA E CRÔNICA DE RECUPERAÇÃO
O Acidente Vascular Cerebral (AVC) popularmente conhecido como derrame, é uma das principais causas de morte e de sequelas no mundo e no Brasil. A hemiplegia ou hemiparesia são considerados o quadro clínico mais comum no paciente com AVC levando a um déficit na marcha. O objetivo desse estudo é avaliar os efeitos da aplicação da bandagem elástica funcional associada a Cinesioterapia no padrão de marcha em hemiparéticos vítimas de acidente vascular encefálico e identificar se a fase de recuperação em que esses indivíduos se encontram influência os resultados obtidos. Esse trabalho trata-se de um estudo clínico randomizado controlado realizado numa clínica-escola na cidade de Registro/SP. Participaram desse estudo quatro indivíduos com diagnóstico clínico de seqüela de AVC, quadro motor de hemiparesia e marcha ceifante, dois deles na fase aguda e dois na fase crônica de recuperação. O protocolo de tratamento é composto por uma seqüência de exercícios cinesioterapêuticos associados ao uso da bandagem elástica funcional para estabilização do tornozelo. Após a finalização do trabalho, conclui-se através dos resultados obtidos que o tratamento associado com a Bandagem elástica Funcional é uma forma de tratamento eficaz tanto na fase aguda, como na fase crônica, com uma melhora ainda maior nos pacientes da fase crônica, melhorando a capacidade e qualidade funcional dos pacientes.

Abstract:
The Stroke (Stroke), popularly known as stroke, is one of the leading causes of death and sequelae in the world and in Brazil. Hemiplegia or hemiparesis are considered the most common clinical picture in stroke patients leading to gait deficit. The objective of this study is to evaluate the effects of the functional elastic bandage associated with kinesiotherapy in gait pattern in hemiparetic stroke victims and to identify if the recovery phase in which these individuals are influencing the results obtained. This work is a randomized controlled clinical study performed in a clinic school in the city of Registro / SP. Four individuals with a clinical diagnosis of stroke sequelae, hemiparesis motor and gait march, two of them in the acute phase and two in the chronic phase of recovery, participated in this study. The treatment protocol is composed of a sequence of kinesiotherapeutic exercises associated with the use of functional elastic bandage for stabilization of the ankle. After the completion of the study, it is concluded from the results obtained that the treatment associated with Functional Elastic Bandaging is a form of treatment effective both in the acute phase and in the chronic phase, with an even greater improvement in patients of the chronic phase, improving the capacity and functional quality of patients.
