EFEITO DA SILANIZAÇÃO QUANDO UTILIZADO ADESIVO UNIVERSAL NA ADESÃO ENTRE CERÂMICAS VÍTREAS E CIMENTO RESINOSO
A diversidade de adesivos
odontológicos existentes no mercado, bem como
suas propriedades, deve ser de conhecimento
dos dentistas para que possam utilizar os produtos
de forma adequada na sua prática clínica. É
importante aliar o conhecimento científico a
técnica operatória a ser empregada. O objetivo
desta revisão de literatura é discutir o papel
da silanização, utilizando silano convencional
e adesivo universal (contendo silano) na
adesão entre a cerâmica vítrea e o cimento
resinoso. Foram incluídos artigos das bases de
dados: LILACS, Pubmed, Medline, SciELO e
ScienceDirect sobre o tema em questão, entre
os anos de 2003 a 2018, selecionando-se vinte
e oito artigos para a revisão. Percebe-se que a
utilização do silano convencional é preferível ao
silano incorporado no adesivo universal. Desta
forma, o conhecimento dos materiais utilizados,
bem como sua utilização, faz com que o
dentista possa oferecer aos seus pacientes
os materiais e técnicas mais adequadas de
tratamento, propiciando uma maior longevidade
dos trabalhos realizados.

Abstract:
The diversity of dental adhesives
on the market, as well as their properties, should
be known by the dentists so they can use the
products properly in their clinical practice. It
is important to combine scientific knowledge
with the operative technique to be used. The
objective of this literature review is to discuss
the role of silanization using conventional silane
and universal adhesive (silane-containing)
in the adhesion between glass ceramics
and resin cement. We included articles from
the databases: LILACS, Pubmed, Medline,
SciELO and ScienceDirect, from 2003 to 2018,
selecting twenty-eight articles for review. It
will be appreciated that the use of the conventional silane is preferable to the silane
incorporated in the universal adhesive. In this way, the knowledge of the materials
used, as well as their use, allows the dentist to offer his patients the most appropriate
treatment materials and techniques, providing a greater longevity of the work performed.
