Abstract: The present investigative work entitled "Education: inclusion and resignification of rights for a culture of coexistence in Buenaventura" will address the importance of education as a tool to promote inclusion and resignification of rights in the community of Buenaventura. The central objective seeks to investigate how education can contribute to the creation of a culture of coexistence in which the rights of all individuals are respected and valued, thus promoting a more equitable and harmonious environment. It analyzes how education can be a transformative agent when addressing issues such as diversity, respect for rights and the promotion of a more just and equal society. The text highlights that the implementation of inclusive educational practices and the revision of school curricula are crucial for students to develop a deeper understanding of human rights and their application in everyday life. Furthermore, it is discussed how the resignification of rights through education can contribute to the construction of a culture of coexistence in Buenaventura, a city historically marked by conflicts and inequalities. Pedagogical strategies are proposed that promote dialogue, the peaceful resolution of conflicts and the appreciation of diversity as key elements to transform social reality.
