EDUCAÇÃO UNIVERSITÁRIA E LIVRO ELETRÔNICO PARA ATINGIR AS METAS DA FEDERAÇÃO INTERNACIONAL DE ASSOCIAÇÃO DE BIBLIOTECÁRIOS E BIBLIOTECAS (IFLA) : REFLEXÕES
A Educação Universitária, para
atender de maneira eficiente seus discentes,
precisam estar sempre atenta as novas
ferramentas disponíveis. Dentro desse contexto
está o livro eletrônico. Em 2012 o Ministério
da Educação (MEC) passou a permitir que as
bibliotecas das instituições de ensino superior
incluíssem, como parte de seu acervo de
bibliografia básica, as obras em formato digital. O
MEC já permitia que a bibliografia complementar
fosse toda digital. Fazer uso de obras digitais,
porém a preferência continua sendo por obras
impressas. Apesar dos discentes apontarem
vantagens no formato eletrônico.

Abstract:
University Education, in order to
efficiently meet its students, must always be
attentive to the new tools available. Within this
context is the electronic book. In 2012, the
Ministry of Education (MEC) began to allow
the libraries of higher education institutions
to include, as part of their collection of basic
bibliography, works in digital format. The MEC
already allowed the complementary bibliography
to be all digital. Make use of digital works,
but the preference remains for printed works.
Although the students pointed out advantages
in the electronic format.
