Abstract: A preliminary literature review on the curriculum of technical vocational education at the secondary level revealed a scarcity of works addressing this topic. Thus, this article presents the results of a bibliographic research on the curriculum of secondary-level technical vocational education, covering the period from 2008 and 2018. Drawing on authors such as Ferreti (2018), Frigotto (2007), and Schwartzman (201c), the article discusses changes in curricular policies, ranging from the High School Reform to the Brazilian Common Core State Standards [Base Nacional Comum Curricular – BNCC], with a particular focus on the Curricular Guidelines for Technical Vocational Education for the secondary level. Through the national repository of the Brazilian Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations, it was possible to identify 35 academic-scientific productions that investigated the theme of vocational education and curriculum.
