EDUCAÇÃO POPULAR: UM RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA ATUANDO COMO EDUCADOR EM UM ESPAÇO DEMOCRÁTICO E DE AUTOGESTÃO
Esse trabalho trata-se de um relato de experiência sobre o exercício de docência desenvolvido no curso Pré-Vestibular Popular Práxis, um projeto de Ensino, Pesquisa e Extensão da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM). Dessa forma, objetiva-se compartilhar a experiência de docência dos autores, que participaram do projeto ao longo da graduação em engenharia química, nas disciplinas de química e física, em um espaço democrático e de autogestão, onde, coletivamente, educadores e educandos constroem e organizam as propostas de trabalho e gestão. O projeto em questão propiciou experiências para além do ambiente acadêmico convencional, onde o espaço de ensino não fica restrito à sala de aula e ao conteúdo ministrado pelo educador, onde as relações desenvolvidas resultam na construção de consciência de classe, social e política, e de uma visão social mais crítica e bem fundamentada.

Abstract:
This paper is a teaching exercise experience report developed in the Pre-Vestibular Popular Praxis course, that is a project of Teaching, Research and Extension of the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM). The objective is to share the teaching experience of the authors, who participated in the project throughout their undergraduate courses in chemical engineering, teaching chemistry and physics disciplines. These disciplines was developed in a democratic and self-management space, where teachers and students build and organize work and management proposals collectively. The project provided experiences beyond the conventional academic environment, where the teaching space is not restricted to the classroom and the content taught by the educator.The relationships developed result in the construction of class, social and political awarness, as well a more critical and well-founded social vision.
