Abstract: Objective: To identify the scientific production of continuing education in health about nursing within the scope of Primary Health Care. Methods: This is an integrative review, which sought to aggregate and summarize research results on the specific topic, enabling the synthesis of multiple published studies. The search for studies was carried out in the Regional Portal of the Virtual Health Library (VHL) and in the National Library of Medicine (MEDLINE) databases via the PubMed, Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health (CINAHL) and Scopus portals, in July. 2022. Results: 272 publications were found, 17 articles were selected for full reading and eligibility assessment, of these 11 articles answered the review question and formed the study corpus. Evidence highlights that Permanent Education in Health is used as an important tool for the qualification of health services, and that it interferes positively in professional practice, acting as a qualification tool. Conclusion: The study identified that the theme of Permanent Education in Health is vast, complex and with a strong focus on the academic and professional training scenario, but it needs further discussions.
