Educação para a Paz e a Pedagogia Social: uma interface
A Educação para a Paz é um fenômeno social. Ela constitui um campo de conhecimento destinado a percorrer a relação entre as violências, os conflitos e a paz, numa inter-relação com os direitos humanos, a democracia, a cidadania e a cultura de paz. Por conseguinte, a Pedagogia Social é uma área das Ciências da Educação que se preocupa com o bem-estar dos indivíduos na sociedade e sua relação com a comunidade a qual pertence. Surge, fundamentalmente, como contributo para redimir as pessoas da exclusão social, afirmando sua cidadania e a predominância de seus direitos em todos os âmbitos de sua vida em sociedade. Entende-se que tanto a Educação para a Paz como a Pedagogia Social promovem aprendizagens, a partilha de experiências, os direitos básicos dos indivíduos, criando condições para gerir o crescimento e o desenvolvimento social e humano. O presente manuscrito intenta investigar os temas Educação para a Paz e a Pedagogia Social em suas possíveis interfaces presentes nas duas áreas de conhecimentos. Indaga-se quais as possíveis interfaces entre a Educação para Paz e a Pedagogia Social. Neste sentido, foi realizada uma pesquisa de natureza descritiva, com um levantamento do estado da arte. Numa perspectiva interdisciplinar, esta investigação acrescenta inputs para a educação e para os estudos da paz e da pedagogia social. No final, serão evidenciados os principais contributos do estudo e, seguidamente, apresentadas linhas de investigação para futuros trabalhos.

Abstract:
Education for Peace is a social phenomenon. It constitutes a field of knowledge designed to cover the relationship between violence, conflicts and peace, in an interrelation with human rights, democracy, citizenship and a culture of peace. Therefore, Social Pedagogy is an area of Educational Sciences that is concerned with the well-being of individuals in society and their relationship with the community to which it belongs. It appears, fundamentally, as a contribution to redeem people from social exclusion, affirming their citizenship and the predominance of their rights in all areas of their life in society. It is understood that both Education for Peace and Social Pedagogy promote learning, the sharing of experiences, the basic rights of individuals, creating conditions to manage social and human growth and development. This manuscript attempts to investigate the themes Education for Peace and Social Pedagogy in their possible interfaces present in the two areas of knowledge. It is asked what are the possible interfaces between Education for Peace and Social Pedagogy. In this sense, a descriptive research was carried out, with a survey of the state of the art. In an interdisciplinary perspective, this research adds inputs for education and for the studies of peace and social pedagogy. In the end, the main contributions of the study will be highlighted and, next, lines of investigation for future works will be presented.
