EDUCAÇÃO NO CAMPO: DESAFIOS, PERSPECTIVAS E ESPECIFICIDADES LOCAIS
A educação no campo, como qualquer
modalidade de ensino, tem a sua importância
para o crescimento intelectual, social e cultural
do homem camponês. Esta pesquisa se pautou
pelas seguintes questões: O que caracteriza
a educação no campo no seu contexto
histórico? Qual a sua importância social para
o homem do campo? E quais as perspectivas
relacionadas à educação no campo, no sentido
do cumprimento da função social da escola e
suas especificidades locais? Os objetivos nos
remetem a compreender o papel da educação
no campo no desenvolvimento educacional
dos alunos; identificar os principais desafios
e perspectivas dessa modalidade de ensino;
compreender que em cada espaço comportam
as especificidades locais. A metodologia
adotada foi a abordagem qualitativa, tendo
como técnica de coleta de dados a análise
documental e a entrevista. Os resultados nos
permitem identificar os conceitos de educação
do campo, os desafios e possibilidades da
educação do campo, com base no aporte
teórico; compreender, à luz da legislação
educacional, os fundamentos da educação
do campo; com base nos dados empíricos,
compreender os desafios, as perspectivas e as
especificidades locais. Acreditamos, entretanto,
que a educação no campo é uma possibilidade
de desenvolvimento, apesar dos desafios que
ainda não foram superados. Contudo, é preciso
nos colocar como educadores que lutam por
uma educação de qualidade sem olhar se a
escola está na zona urbana ou zona rural.

Abstract:
Education in the field as any form of
education, has its importance for the intellectual,
social and cultural growth of the peasant man.
This research was based on the following
questions: What characterizes education in the
field in its historical context? What is its social
importance to the rural man? And what are the
perspectives related to education in the field, in
the sense of fulfilling the social function of the
school and its local specificities? The objectives
are to understand the role of education in
the field in the educational development of
students; identify the main challenges and perspectives of this type of education; understand that in each space they have local
specificities. The methodology adopted was the qualitative approach, having as data
collection technique the documentary analysis and the interview. The results allow us
to identify the concepts of rural education, the challenges and possibilities of rural
education, based on the theoretical contribution; understand, in the light of educational
legislation, the fundamentals of rural education; on the basis of empirical data, to
understand local challenges, perspectives and specificities. We believe, however, that
education in the countryside is a possibility for development, despite the challenges
that have not yet been overcome. However, we need to become educators who strive
for quality education regardless of whether the school is in the urban or rural areas
